NGENLA is supplied as a pre-filled, multidose injection pen. These instructions provide essential information about preparing, safely using, storing, and disposing of the injection pen.

Do not share your injection pen with anyone else, even if the needle has been replaced.
Use a new sterile needle for every injection.
Never reuse a needle.

Do not shake the injection pen, as this may damage the medicine.
Do not use the pen if it has been dropped, damaged, frozen, or exposed to high temperatures.

NGENLA is injected under the skin in one of the following areas:
abdomen;
thigh;
buttock;
upper arm.
Rotate the injection site each time.
Do not inject into skin that:
is red or painful;
has bruises, scars, or damage;
is hard or swollen;
shows signs of a skin condition.
Do not inject the medicine into a muscle, vein, or directly over a bone.
The official instructions identify the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and upper arms as acceptable sites for subcutaneous injection.
Wipe the selected area with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry completely.
Do not touch the injection site after cleaning it.
